The North Queensland Electrical & Instrumentation (NQEI) team are pleased to have achieved a Finalist Award in the 2018 Excellence Awards for Master Electricians Australia (MEA).
The Pioneer Mill’s – New 3500T Sugar Bin was up against some large contenders in the ‘Industrial Project of the Year’ category but fell just short of the prestigious award.
The Pioneer Mill Sugar Bin project installation was in collaboration with Wilmar Sugar and their primary contractor. The five month project run seamlessly without delay and in-time for the most anticipated and critical commencement of the 2018 Sugar Cane Crushing Season.
NQEI’s team of Electrical and Instrumentation specialists successfully executed the installation of energy efficient led lighting, power services and modifications to
existing conveyor emergency stop control systems to ensure the new installation complies with current Electrical Safety Standards.
NQEI is an electrical contracting company based in the Burdekin. It has both a domestic and industrial contingent, with it’s industrial clients spanning from Townsville to the Whitsundays and includes inland regions and mining towns such as Mount Isa and Phosphate Hill.
